Series 6 Licensing training can assist you with your studies to be able to sell Mutual Funds, Variable Annuities and Insurance Products.
The Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Limited Representative Exam, or Series 6 Exam, is a 2-hour 15 minute test, containing 100 questions. It is multiple-choice, and you must pass with 70% or better on your Series 6 licensing exam in order to receive your license to do business in mutual funds and variable annuities. The cost of the exam is $85.
The Series 6 Securities Licensing Exam covers major topics such as mutual funds, variable annuities, debt securities, Self Regulatory Organizations (SRO's), tax regulations, retirement plans, insurance products and more.
Some states will require you to obtain a Series 63 license in addition to the Series 6 license. Check with your state's Department of Insurance for further details.
