Get Your Delaware Insurance Adjuster License!
Becoming a Delaware Claims Adjuster can be an appealing profession that can be quite lucrative.
But before you can begin working as an Insurance Adjuster, you must first obtain your DE Insurance Adjuster License.
DE Adjuster License Requirements:
Non-Resident Delaware Insurance Adjuster License
- 18 years of age or older
- Pass the DE state exam administered by Pearson VUE Testing Centers
- Complete the Delaware Insurance Adjuster License application and submit with $75 application fee
- Continuing education is required for DE resident licensees only. 21 General and 3 Ethics hours are required for the two year reporting period. Non-residents need only to be compliant with their home state's CE requirements.
Non-resident applicants for a DE Adjuster License must submit an application. Please visit the National Insurance Producer Registry for more information on Delaware non-resident licensing.
NOTE: Delaware grants reciprocity to adjusters holding a license from their home state. However, if your home state does not require a license, you must successfully pass the Delaware state adjuster exam. Adjusters working catastrophic claims are not required to be licensed in Delaware.
