Becoming a Mississippi Claims Adjuster can be an appealing profession that can be quite lucrative.
But before you can begin working as an Insurance Adjuster, you must first obtain your MS Insurance Adjuster License.
MS Adjuster License Requirements:
Non-Resident Mississippi Insurance Adjuster License
- 18 years of age or older
- Pass the MS state exam administered by Testing Services, Inc.
- Complete the Mississippi Insurance Adjuster License application and submit with applicable fees
- Submit fingerprints and undergo basic background check
- Residents are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education per year .
Non-resident applicants for a MS Adjuster License must submit an application. Please visit the National Insurance Producer Registry for more information on Mississippi non-resident licensing.
NOTE: Mississippi grants reciprocity to adjusters holding a license from their home state. However, if your home state does not require a license, you must successfully pass the Mississippi state adjuster exam.
