How To Become A New York Life & Health Insurance Agent

About The New York Life And Health Insurance Licensing Exam

Once you finish your pre-licensing course, put in the required number of hours and pass the certification exam, you will receive a certificate of completion. You must have this certificate to sit for the licensing exam.

Schedule your exam with PSI Testing Services by following the instructions online. On your test day, bring your completion certificate and two forms of valid, current I.D., including a photo I.D., to the testing location.

When your test is complete, your printed score report will let you know if you passed. Then, apply for your license at the Department of Insurance website. You will also need to get fingerprinted.
