Becoming a Rhode Island Claims Adjuster can be an appealing profession that can be quite lucrative.
But before you can begin working as an Insurance Adjuster, you must first obtain your RI Insurance Adjuster License.
RI Adjuster License Requirements:
Non-Resident Rhode Island Insurance Adjuster License
- 18 years of age or older
- Pass the RI state exam administered by Pearson VUE Testing Centers
- Complete the Rhode Island Insurance Adjuster License application and submit with applicable fees
- No Continuing Education is required
Non-resident applicants for a RI Adjuster License must submit an application. Please visit the National Insurance Producer Registry for more information on Rhode Island non-resident licensing.
NOTE: Applicants are exempt from taking the Rhode Island exam only if they are licensed in their home state and their home state is one of the following reciprocal states: Connecticut, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont, or Wyoming.
