Get Your South Carolina Insurance Adjuster License!
Becoming a South Carolina Claims Adjuster can be an appealing profession that can be quite lucrative.
But before you can begin working as an Insurance Adjuster, you must first obtain your SC Insurance Adjuster License.
SC Adjuster License Requirements:
Non-Resident South Carolina Insurance Adjuster License
- 18 years of age or older
- Pass the SC state exam administered by PSI Testing Centers
- Complete the South Carolina Insurance Adjuster License application and submit with applicable fees
- Submit fingerprints and undergo basic background check
- No Continuing Education is required
Non-resident applicants for a SC Adjuster License must submit an application. Please visit the National Insurance Producer Registry for more information on South Carolina non-resident licensing.
NOTE: South Carolina will grant reciprocal licensing privileges to an applicant who holds an adjuster license by exam in their home state. If an applicant's home state does not require an exam, then the applicant can qualify with an adjuster license from another state, as long as they passed and exam for that license.
