This 2 hour Continuing Education course is designed as a self-paced course done entirely online at your convenience. After successfully completing and passing the entire online course, you will have fulfilled your CE requirements.

The course will present a review of hurricane characteristics and forecasting, emphasizing policies insuring hurricane losses, coverage questions and underwriting changes since Hurricane Andrew of 1992. In addition, types of insurance policies, the impact of hurricanes on the insurance industry will be discussed.

The online course consists of seven Units, as well as two (2) twenty-five question multiple choice quizzes and a twelve (12) question multiple choice Final Exam which are electronically scored online. You must achieve a passing score of 70% or better for each quiz and exam.

This course offers unlimited use - 24/7 - for 30 days. Your online virtual course is an alternative to the physical classroom. It is not a way to avoid the required labor of hours of study.
