Nevada Property And Casualty Exam Requirements

After you have put in as much study time as necessary, contact Pearson VUE to register. The combined line exam fee is $61. If you are going to take either the property or the casualty exam, the fee is only $51.

Keep in mind that in Nevada, you need to be fingerprinted as part of your license application process. Digital fingerprinting services are offered by IdentoGO by MorphoTrust, USA.

Arrive on time for the exam with your prelicensing certificate of completion along with two forms of I.D., the primary one being a driver's license or other government-issued photo I.D.

The property exam alone is two hours long, with 75 minutes for general law and 45 minutes for state law. There are 99 multiple-choice questions. The casualty exam has the same time limits but for 107 total questions. If you choose the combined lines property and casualty insurance examination, you will have 170 multiple-choice questions and three hours and 35 minutes to complete them. You need at least an 80 percent to pass any of these tests.

You will receive a printed score report immediately after your test that will tell you if you passed. Once you do pass, you can apply for your license through Sircon.
